At Artistic Concrete Designs, we provide top-quality epoxy garage floor coating. Epoxy coating is usually applied over concrete floors to provide a high-performance, smooth, and durable surface that can last for many years and withstand harsh conditions. Epoxy floor coatings are commonly used for commercial and industrial flooring, but they can be ideal for homes too.
What Are the Benefits of Epoxy Garage Floor Coating?
Epoxy garage coating renders concrete floors exceptionally durable. Epoxy garage floor coating is low maintenance and relatively easy to keep clean. Many businesses, industrial sites, and warehouses rely on epoxy coating to maintain a clean and safe working environment for its employees, equipment, and inventory. Epoxy garage coating creates a seamless surface that is oil resistant, water resistant, and chemically resistant, which is ideal for commercial and residential properties.
When you’re upgrading your home or business, planning a budget can be daunting. Like most other investments, you get what you pay for. That’s why we value our customers’ needs and offer competitive pricing, as well as top-of-the-line epoxy coating and workmanship. Investing in epoxy floor coating can increase the value of your home. Potential buyers will love to have durable, shiny garage floors and may be willing to pay a higher price for a house with that type of flooring.
The short answer is yes, but here’s the problem — if you use a do-it-yourself kit and attempt to do it on your own, those kits don’t come with a warranty. You may be stuck with a much bigger problem on your hands — moisture can get trapped under the coating and cause mildew. When done incorrectly, epoxy flooring can cause damage, not just to your surface, but to your property as well. When you work with a professional and reputable business like Artistic Concrete Designs, you will receive benefits such as an outstanding warranty and a team of professionals to get the job done correctly and quickly.

How It Works
This process is straightforward and fast. Your new garage floor will be installed in just one day and will last for a lifetime — no hot tire marks or peeling.
1. Preparing Your Garage Floor for Epoxy
The first thing we do is inspect the garage floor to make sure the concrete will accept our epoxy coating. Epoxy will not adhere to sealed or painted concrete. We use our diamond grinding machine for the entire garage floor.
2. Complete Your Garage Floor Repairs
Once the floor is profiled, the next step is to make repairs to the garage floor where needed. Then we vacuum the entire area before starting our coating process.
3. Applying the First & Second Coat
The first coat will be a primer coat, and the second coat will be the epoxy color coat.
4. Applying the Vinyl Color Flakes
We start applying the vinyl color flakes after we finish back rolling the second epoxy coat. We install a full broadcast flake floor, which means you get 95%-98% flake coverage over the entire area.
5. Install Your Polyaspartic/Polyurea
Our final process is applying our top clear coat by pouring and rolling the polyaspartic/polyurea hybrid clear coat. Twenty-four hours after the top clear coat is applied, you can return to full usage of the garage floor area, including parking your vehicle.
